The intention of this site is to show and present the experimental side of chemistry (and pyrotechnics) as an interesting hobby to people interested in science. Personal sites like this can be easily found written on english language. Unfortunately, sites of this type are rare on croatian language. Because of that, I decided to document all of my projects. These will gradually be added to the site. You will probably notice the connection of many of my projects with energetic materials. This is because I found this branch of science very interesting already from a relatively early age. However, future projects will also cover other branches of chemistry and general science.

All information that can be found on this site, is for information purposes only. The author of this site is not responsible for the potential danger of carrying out syntheses and other procedures that can be found here. Unless one has a decent amount of work experience in chemical or other types of laboratories in which work involves the handling of chemicals, one should not try to carry out most of the procedures described on this site.

Surfing the internet in search for experiments of this type, mostly results in questionable procedures which usually miss a larger number of details that very important for the safe and successful implementation of the methods described here. Because of that, I believe that well documented material is, for individuals interested in this branch of science, much more useful and safe than some .txt file similar to the famous and very dangerous "anarchist cookbook".

The author of this site hopes that the visitors will find the content interesting and that they will satisfy their curiosity by looking at these pages and not go on to try the experiments out by themselves.

Unfortunately, there is always a chance that someone will try to misuse the information that he/she has at his/her disposal, but I personally do not believe that is a good enough reason to hide certain fields of knowledge from those that are lead by pure interest and curiosity towards science.
