Sulphur is a nonmetal with the atomic number 16. Its mass number is equal to 32.06. Sulphur comes in form of a yellow colored solid at standard conditions. It can be found in pure form in the nature, and in form of many different sulfide and sulfate minerals. It is used in the production of sulphuric acid, in the production of batteries and detergents, in the process of rubber vulcanization, in the production of cosmetic products, in the production of fungicides, in pyrotechnics for the production of black powder and matches, etc.

Sulphur can be bought in agricultural shops in form of powder packed in packets of various weights. It can also be found in shops that sell equipment for viticulture, in form of strips or pellets (which are used for the disinfection of barrels). Additionaly, it can also be bought from chemical selling companies.
